Is discipline always a negative word? Not with God, our heavenly Father! Certainly we disobey Him (unfortunately), but God disciplines us so we won't go totally astray and off His Way to eternal life. Thankfully, Jesus stepped up and took our eternal punishment so that we can enter God's home in heaven. God disciplines us because He loves us and wants us to walk in His ways which He knows are truly best for us!
