"How much do I love you? - Let me count the ways!" - God

Have you ever wanted to ask that same question of God - "How much do You love me?" Have you asked that same question from God and are waiting for a voice from heaven to tell you? Wait no longer!

God wrote these words of love to you in the best "Valentine Card" - the Bible. Listen as you hear His voice and the voice of the people who responded with their own words of love reflecting His perfect, enduring, faithful love. Consider His love shown so personally in Jesus - the Word of God who came at Christmas so we could have an eternal Valentine's Day!

For God so loved the world, He gave His only-begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, Your justice like the great deep. O LORD, You preserve both man and beast. How priceless is your unfailing love. Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of Your wings.
Psalm 36:5-7

Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol Him all you peoples. For great is His love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD.
Psalm 117

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His love endures forever.
Psalm 118:1

The LORD is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made...The LORD is righteous in all His ways and loving toward all He has made.
Psalm 145:13, 17

I have loved you with an everlasting love. I have drawn you with loving-kindness.
Jeremiah 31:3

But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!
1 John 3:1

This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
1 John 4:9-11

Once again, these are only a few expressions of God's love for you - seen most personally in Jesus and how God has related His love to people throughout the centuries since He lovingly created this world and all who live in it. God has made it possible for you to be His forever Valentine when His heart stopped beating for you as Jesus died on the cross. But that heart started beating again when Jesus rose from the dead, and it doesn't stop beating for you!
